2024 was my personal peak Uber year, no judgment. I spent over 400 minutes riding through London, waited nearly half an hour for a 20-minute ride in Barcelona, and realized that Uber Green might’ve been more “eco” than economical. Meanwhile, UberX quietly kept it reasonable.

Get Your Uber Data
To create your own ride story, you’ll first need to download your trip history from Uber. It’s totally free, but takes some time. Here's how:
1. Go to myprivacy.uber.com/exploreyourdata
2. Click the Download tab
3. Hit Request Your Data
4. Within two days, you’ll get an email with a link - click it to return to the download page again
5. Download your folder and look for the file called trips_data.csv
6. Upload that file to the template and you’re ready to explore your ride history
