This OECD-backed analysis looks at daily time use across countries, categorising activities into work and life to compare how different nations balance the two. A few findings stand out. Some countries leave very little room for leisure in the average day, with Mexico sitting at the bottom of the ranking. Others, like France and Italy, log far less time on work than the average. The gap between the most and least work-heavy countries is larger than most people would expect.
